Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 21, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Merlene Limited Liability Company, a Connecticut limited liability company, which operates ProTVGuide (“ProTVGuide”, “we”, “us”).
They apply to all ProTVGuide products and services: the ProTVGuide mobile and TV applications (the “App”), the ProTVGuide website and web app, and the ProTVGuide SportsBot for Discord and Telegram (the “Bot”). By using any of them, you agree to the following.
1. What ProTVGuide Is
ProTVGuide is a sports discovery guide. It shows you what games are on, when they start, how they are going, and which channels or services are carrying them.
ProTVGuide is not a TV provider. We do not host, transmit, or sell video content, and we do not supply channel subscriptions. Watching a game requires a subscription you hold with a TV or streaming service, separate from ProTVGuide.
The Bot provides automated sports schedules and related features within Discord and Telegram. Some features across our products are free; others require a subscription.
2. Your Account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one.
You may delete your account at any time — see Delete Your Account.
3. Connecting a TV Service
You may optionally connect an existing TV or streaming service so ProTVGuide can show which of your channels carry a game. If you do:
- You confirm the account is yours and that you are entitled to use it
- Your agreement with that service is between you and them — we are not a party to it and are not responsible for its content, availability, pricing or terms
- You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored details
4. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse ProTVGuide. In particular, you must not:
- Use it to access content you are not entitled to, or to redistribute content
- Scrape, resell, or republish our schedule and score data
- Interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or circumvent limits
- Spam, harass, or conduct malicious activity, or violate Discord’s or Telegram’s terms when using the Bot
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscriptions are optional. Where you purchase through an app store, that store processes the payment and its terms and refund policy apply to the transaction. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you cancel through the store you purchased from.
Prices and plan features may change. We will give notice of material changes before they take effect for an existing subscription.
6. Schedules, Scores and Availability
Schedule, score, and channel information comes from third-party data sources and may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Broadcast listings vary by region and provider. We provide this information as a guide and do not warrant its accuracy — check with your provider before relying on it.
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uptime. Features may change or be discontinued.
7. ProTVGuide Chat
The in-app chat generates responses using an AI service. Responses may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied on as fact. Do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.
8. Privacy
Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
9. Intellectual Property
ProTVGuide, its name, logo, software and interfaces are ours. Team names, league names, channel names and broadcaster marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify events and where they are showing. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the service or other users. You may stop using ProTVGuide and delete your account at any time.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
ProTVGuide is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for damages arising from downtime, data inaccuracy, or reliance on the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
