Privacy Policy

At ProTVGuide, your privacy is our top priority. We believe your data belongs to you, and we will never sell, share, or disclose it to anyone — for any reason. This Privacy Policy applies to all ProTVGuide products and services, including the ProTVGuide mobile application (“App”), the ProTVGuide SportsBot for Discord and Telegram (“Bot”), and the ProTVGuide website.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account or sign in using Google, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers necessary to maintain your account.
Bot Information: If you use the ProTVGuide Bot, we collect your Discord ID or Telegram ID as needed to deliver the service.
Preferences: Sports preferences, favorite teams, preferred viewing regions, and notification settings you choose to configure.
Service Connections: If you choose to connect a third-party streaming or TV provider, we store the connection credentials you provide. These credentials are encrypted using industry-standard encryption (AES-256) and are used solely to facilitate your connection to your own provider account.
Subscription and Payment Information: If you purchase a subscription or add-on through the App, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store payment card details. We maintain records of your subscription status to deliver the appropriate service tier.
Usage Data: Basic usage information such as schedule viewing activity and feature interactions, used solely to improve service reliability and functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
To authenticate your account and maintain your session.
To deliver sports schedules, live scores, and discovery features.
To facilitate connections to streaming providers you choose to link.
To process subscriptions and service add-ons.
To deliver Bot features including scheduled posts to your Discord or Telegram channels.
To improve service reliability and functionality.
3. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or targeted marketing.
We do not access, view, or monitor the content you watch through connected providers.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. We receive only your basic profile information (email, name) and authentication token.
Google Play Billing: In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not handle or store payment instruments.
We do not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.
5. Data Retention
We take the security of your data seriously. Provider connection credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. All communication between the App and our servers uses HTTPS. Access to user data is restricted to essential service operations only.
6. Your Rights
Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through the App (Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing ptgsupport@protvguide.com from your account email address. For more information, visit https://protvguide.com/delete-account/.
Data Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us.
Data Correction: You may update your preferences and profile information directly within the App.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide services. When you delete your account, all associated data — including profile information, preferences, and any stored connection credentials — is permanently removed from our systems. Server logs and backups rotate regularly, and deleted data is not restored.
8. Children's Privacy
ProTVGuide is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
